These sceneries are located on the shore of the St.Lawrence River, some 65nm downstream from Québec City. Charlevoix is on the North shore (just west of the lighthouse) and Rivière Ouelle is on the South shore.
I could not find pictures of these airfields so they are real but not representative. I tried to make them interesting and pleasant to visit.
I have added lots of candies on and around the field. Please refer to the pictures to see if you missed something.
In Riviere Ouelle you will find the main airfield and also a smaller one with grass strip. Just follow the small road ouest next to the runway, you will find it it is very close by.
KNOWN ISSUE: Note that some of the pictures were made in the FS2002 version so, you will see a difference in terrain mesh. Some of the items will show a bit out of place or slightly in the air. I tried to reinstall and to replace some items and move others. It just simply would not work. It is like if FS made its own mesh. After lot of playing with it, I decided to release it as it is since, from the air or a few feet above, you will not notice this at all.

This series of scenery is aimed at making VFR flying in Québec most pleasant and attractive as I can make it. Québec Short Hops for FS9 starts the visit by adding on the St. Lawrence rivers sites that you can hop from one to the other using the lighthouses and other aids I include.
An exemple, just fly upstream and you will soon see the lighthouses of Ile-aux-Coudres where you can have fun landing on the torch lit runway (except in daytime of course) and then go further upstream to catch the Ile-aux-Grues lighthouse where you will find its scenery and also Montmagny on the South shore.
I find it very pleasant specially at dawn or dusk to jump from one lighthouse to the other. There are/will be very few minutes spent without at least one in sight.
Anyway, the idea is to make it look nice and have lots of fun.
You can upload any of the above sceneries if you make a search at either AvSim of FlighSim.com and search for author Leon Louis.
These sceneries were first made for FS2002 but I made a few adjustments for FS9. You may notice that a couple of items appear a few feet in the air. It was leave as is, redo the scenery or delete those items. I could not find the proper way to correct this. I left them as they are but you may not notice it.
Also some will see a square canvas around certain items where it is suppose to be a transparency. I do not know how to fix this if there is a fix for it. It is not that bad and is a rare occurence.

I N S T A L L A T I O N FOR ALL MY QUEBEC SHORT HOPS SCENERIES
If you do not have a Quebec Short Hops folder "Quebec SH9" where you usually install your sceneries, you must make one and make also one subfolder named scenery and another named texture.
You should then have:
xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery and
/texture
As many of my textures are repeated from one scene to the other, this will use lot less room on your hard drive.
Then,you must place the CONTENTS ONLY of the scenery folder in the above scenery folder you created.
Then, do the same with the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder.
Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the effects folder (if any is included with the download) in the Effects folder of your Flight Simulator.
You need to activate Quebec SH9 in the scenery library.
That is all.
Restart Flight Simulator and welcome to "La Belle Province"
